TRIATHLON M30 Meeting in Prague
June 8On 27–28 May 2026, AMIRES welcomed the TRIATHLON consortium to Prague for the project’s M30 meeting.
Bringing partners together in person, the event provided an important opportunity to review progress, exchange expertise, and strengthen collaboration as we continue advancing hydrogen-electric propulsion technologies for the future of aviation.
Accelerating Innovation Across Key Technical Areas
Over two productive days, consortium partners shared recent achievements and tackled several critical challenges shaping the development of hydrogen-powered aviation systems.
Discussions focused on:
- Hydrogen storage and conditioning technologies
- Thermodynamics-based optimisation of hydrogen storage solutions
- Advanced thermal management strategies to enhance system efficiency and performance
- System-level analyses and pathways towards higher Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs)
The meeting demonstrated the strength of the consortium’s multidisciplinary expertise and highlighted the significant progress being made toward enabling cleaner, more sustainable aviation.

Aligning for the Next Phase
Alongside technical discussions, partners coordinated upcoming dissemination and communication activities aimed at increasing the visibility and impact of TRIATHLON’s results. New project updates, insights, and achievements will be shared in the coming months as the consortium continues to build momentum.
With key milestones approaching, the meeting also served as an important moment to align priorities, address challenges collectively, and define the roadmap for the next phase of the project.
Strengthening Collaboration Beyond the Agenda
While the formal sessions were highly productive, some of the most valuable conversations continued beyond the meeting room.
Partners had the opportunity to connect informally, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional relationships while experiencing the city’s unique atmosphere and renowned cuisine. These interactions continue to play an important role in fostering the collaborative spirit that drives TRIATHLON forward.
Thank You to Our Partners
We would like to thank all TRIATHLON partners for their dedication, expertise, and active contributions throughout the project. Special thanks also go to AMIRES for hosting and organising a successful and engaging meeting.
As TRIATHLON enters its next phase, the consortium moves forward with renewed energy, a shared vision, and a strong commitment to advancing hydrogen-electric aviation technologies that support a more sustainable future for air transport.
