AMIRES ( is a consulting company for EU research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects, technology scouting and business innovation. We are specialized in creation of consortia of partners with common aim for product or service innovation with significant potential for know-how commercialization. Unique and profound knowledge of the European public funding environment (e.g. Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe) as well as broad network of market key-players contribute to the high quality of entrusted projects. We follow projects from their initiation and planning, through negotiation, execution and management to the final stage, where exploitation of a new technologies, products or services is facilitated.


Job overview

Our AMIRES team (Czech Republic) has a portfolio of exciting industrial and innovation projects (funded especially by Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe programmes), and we are looking for the right candidate to help us execute them in the role of IP Analyst.


The IP Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing and managing intellectual property data, ensuring AMIRES maximizes the value of ours and our clients’ innovations. She / He will ensure effective identification of new opportunities, and protecting innovations and thus will significantly contribute to the AMIRES’s innovation pipeline, competitive edge, and overall growth.


Main activities and responsibilities

  • Master IPR rules of HEU projects.
  • Perform searches in patent databases on various technologies and emerging fields.
  • Prepare IP reports (e.g. FTOs).
  • Draft possible IP strategies for companies and research partners.
  • Present findings at project or company level.
  • Be an interface to patent attorneys, trademarks and patent offices.
  • Support technology transfer activities.
  • Execute simple IPR , e.g. registered trademarks.
  • Co-develop internal processes for IPR.


We expect

  • University degree (MSc or PhD in technical fields is an advantage).
  • Fluency in English (both verbally and in written).
  • A solid understanding of the legal framework surrounding intellectual property.
  • Curious mindset and the ability to learn quickly and understand complex technological processes.
  • The initiative to proactively identify new opportunities internally and / or for clients.
  • The ability to work discreetly and sensitively on confidential projects.
  • Strong communication (both oral and written in formal and informal situations) and organisational skills
  • Responsibility, flexibility, proactivity, diligence, ability to work independently but still a team player.
  • The ability to work in multinational environment.
  • Your willingness to travel.
