LUMINOSITY at Midpoint: Progress, Innovation, and Collaboration
May 27The LUMINOSITY consortium convened for its 24‑month meeting on 27–28 May 2026 in Delft, the Netherlands, marking the project’s halfway point with significant technical progress and strong collaboration across partners.
Hosted by Delft University of Technology, the meeting brought together consortium members to review achievements and align on the next steps towards the development of large-area, industry-compatible perovskite solar modules.
AMIRES, as leader of project management and dissemination activities, supported the organisation of the meeting and continues to ensure smooth project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication of results.

Advancing Perovskite Solar Technology
The consortium reported strong progress across key technological areas, including:
- Development of more stable and efficient absorber materials
- Improved interlayers and contacts enhancing overall device performance
- Integration of protective barriers supporting multi-stack architectures
- Successful demonstration of the first upscaled cell stacks
- Ongoing work on reliability and packaging solutions
These results highlight the project’s steady progress towards scalable and commercially viable perovskite photovoltaic technologies.
Growing Visibility and Community Engagement
In parallel with technical developments, LUMINOSITY continues to strengthen its presence within the scientific and innovation community through:
- Increasing engagement across stakeholder groups
- Strong representation at international conferences and events
- Upcoming participation at the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC) in September 2026
Strengthening Collaboration
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting also provided valuable opportunities for exchange and team building. Participants visited laboratories at Delft University of Technology and took part in informal networking activities, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that drives the project forward.
