LASER-PRO Annual Conference 2026: Laser Technologies as a Strategic Asset for Europe

On 1 October 2026, the LASER-PRO Annual Conference 2026: Laser Technologies as a Strategic Asset for Europe will take place at the ELI Beamlines Facility in Dolní Břežany, Czechia.

As a partner of the LASER-PRO project, AMIRES is proud to support this event, which will bring together representatives from research organisations, industry, start-ups, innovation agencies, public authorities and the wider photonics community.

The conference will explore how Europe can turn its world-class expertise in laser and photonics technologies into stronger industries, successful deep-tech companies and resilient innovation ecosystems. The programme will combine strategic perspectives with practical examples of research-industry collaboration, European laser ecosystems, technology transfer and deep-tech entrepreneurship.

Participants can look forward to case studies involving companies and research organisations such as onsemi, IQS, CRYTUR and CARDAM, as well as discussions on building internationally connected innovation ecosystems and supporting the next generation of European laser companies.

The main programme will be followed by an optional practical workshop focused on technology transfer and the journey from research to market.
