On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, from 10:00 to 12:30 (CET), the ComBioTES workshop on “Designing PCM TES for Domestic Space Heating & Hot Water: A Comprehensive Overview” was held online.
As a partner in the ComBioTES project, AMIRES was delighted to contribute to this insightful event, which explored the latest advancements in phase change material (PCM) thermal energy storage (TES) and its potential to enhance energy efficiency in domestic heating and hot water systems.
The workshop featured engaging discussions and expert presentations, bringing together researchers and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and explore innovative solutions.
A special thank you to the speakers who shared their expertise and research findings: Dr. Arnaud Bruch (Thermal Systems Projects Manager at CEA) and Xin Jin (Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Wind and Energy Systems at Technical University of Denmark).
