Health & Biotech Team Retreat in Karlovy Vary

Earlier this month, our Health & Biotech team had the pleasure of spending a few inspiring days together in the beautiful spa town of Karlovy Vary. We stayed at the iconic Hotel Thermal, best known for hosting the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Walking through the same halls that welcome filmmakers and artists each year gave our retreat a special atmosphere, a blend of history, culture, and a touch of glamour.

We began the retreat with a relaxed lunch and a short team meeting, where we looked back on our achievements from the past year and shared ideas for the road ahead. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect, realign, and celebrate how much we’ve grown as a team.

The afternoon was dedicated to what Karlovy Vary does best – relaxation. We spent peaceful hours at the hotel’s spa, unwinding in the thermal mineral-rich pool, known for its healing properties. It was a soothing experience that helped us recharge and enjoy a well-deserved pause from our daily routines. Everyone left feeling refreshed and ready for the months ahead.

That evening, we gathered for dinner and a quiet walk through the city. Karlovy Vary by night was beautiful,  calm streets, soft lights, and the sound of the river running through town. The next morning, we continued exploring, tasting the famous mineral springs and taking a scenic walk up to a viewpoint overlooking the city. With the autumn colors at their peak and sunshine all around, it was a moment that truly captured the spirit of the retreat.

This time together reminded us how important it is to step away from our desks, reconnect on a personal level, and simply enjoy each other’s company. We returned home re-energized, inspired, and even more connected as a team.
