Think You’ve Got What It Takes? The BOOSTER Design Contest Is Now Open

The BOOSTER project has officially opened its Design Contest, inviting creative thinkers based in EU to explore new possibilities for integrating Organic Photovoltaic (OPV) technology into architectural and building-applied concepts. Participants are encouraged to push the boundaries of creativity, using a 5 m² OPV film supplied by ASCA GmbH & Co. KG as the basis for their ideas. The contest focuses on originality and vision rather than technical calculations.

The BOOSTER Design Contest is open to individuals, teams, and organizations based in the EU, with students, designers, and architects especially encouraged to participate. Entry is free, and multiple submissions are welcome.

The winning design will be realized as a small-scale demonstrator and presented at the BOOSTER Final Event. The second-place entry will receive promotional support, while both the second- and third-place participants will be invited to attend the Final Event. All entrants will receive an official certificate of participation.

The contest opens on 16 February 2026, with submissions accepted until 1 June 2026. The winner will be announced on 15 September 2026.
